Dr Helena Goodwyn

Assistant Professor

Before joining Northumbria University in 2020 I was a Lecturer in Victorian Literature at the University of St Andrews, and before this held teaching positions at the University of Warwick and Queen Mary, University of London. 

I serve on the editorial board for the Journal of European Periodical Studies (JEPS), and on the Advisory Board for the Institute of English Studies.

Helena Goodwyn

Helena has research interests in British and American literature of the long nineteenth century, book and media history, women’s literature, and pedagogy.
